Consists of two sections:

1. Overview of Global Strategic Directions for Nursing and Midwifery (GSDNM)
2. Review of education, jobs, leadership, and service delivery priorities

At the end of the module, learners will be able to:

1. Understand the main goals of GSDNM relevant to the context of respective nursing and midwifery practice
2. Recognize the importance of the GSDNM
3. Understand concepts and impacts of the GSDNM
4. Explain the role of nurses in achieving the priorities of the GSDNM
5. Describe examples of education, jobs, leadership, and service delivery interventions to achieve the GSDNM
